Pain Reprocessing Therapy
This is a modality that helps the brain adjust its interpretation of signals from the body to help break the cycle of chronic pain. It is essentially a somatic/ mindfulness therapy that helps the body reduce it’s interpretation of pain.

Somatic Experiencing
Somatic Experiencing(SE) is a very helpful modality for those who have tried talk therapy, may have found it helpful, but were left wanting more. SE supports people in learning how to attend to sensations in their body and release them through awareness. SE is particularly useful in managing stress and trauma because so many of related symptoms are physiological. I am still in the 3 year long training, but plan to complete this and receive my accreditation to become a SEP.
