Hi, Iām Michael. I have been a therapist for over ten years now and currently reside in Greensboro, NC, but have lived in many regions of the US, including Washington state, Michigan, Colorado, and Indiana. I have worked with clients of all ages from a variety of backgrounds. Much of my clinical experience so far comes from working in community based settings, psychiatric hospitals and spiritual settings. Though I have worked with children and families, my current focus is teenagers, adults, couples, and parents.
Outside my work, I have a jack-of-all-trades approach to life including baking, gardening, and any musical instrument that I can find at an estate sale. I spend much of my time outdoors with my partner, two kids, and our dog named Bear.
A very incomplete list of books and Names of those who have influenced me:
How to Do Nothing and Saving Time by Jenny Odell
Mating in Captivity by Ester Perel
Waking the Tiger by Peter Levine
Come as you are and Come together by Emily Nagoski
Many books by Dan Allender
Anti-Diet by Christy Harrison
The Way Out by Alan Gordon
Polywise by Jessica Fern
The Other Significant others Rhaina Cohen
And many, many, many more!
