Anxiety, Depression, Stress
In counseling, anxiety and depression are often viewed as two sides of the same coin. While anxiety is frequently a "future-oriented" state of high-alert and worry, depression is often a "past-oriented" state of heaviness, low energy, and withdrawal.
Our work provides a structured, supportive space to see where these feelings are located. Sometimes we need time, space, and support to unclog the fight, flight, freeze, or fawn responses that accumulate in our bodies and nervous systems. We’ll gently support change as you move from states of stress and survival into safety.”
